Mrs. Adamo was born and raised in the desert in Scottsdale, Arizona. After recently moving to the Cape this past summer, she is quickly getting acquainted with her new home on the east coast. Mrs. Adamo studied Elementary Education at Arizona State University and had the great privilege of teaching 7th and 8th grade math and religion for ten years at a local Catholic school near her home in Arizona. With a specialization in middle school mathematics, Mrs. Adamo is excited to offer support and assistance to the teachers and students at the prep division of St. John Paul II. As a new member of St. John the Evangelist parish, she is quickly feeling at home in this new community and looking forward to building math literacy and confidence among all middle school students.

As Assistant Principal, Dr. Andrew J. Ballou assists Ms. Valentino in daily operations and specifically oversees the school’s academic program.

Dr. Ballou holds a BA from Maryville College (TN), an MTS from the Iliff School of Theology (CO), an MA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a PhD in American History from Boston University.  Before starting at JPII, he taught history as an adjunct professor at Bridgewater State University, Northeastern University, and BU. Dr. Ballou divides his Sundays between Cotuit Federated Church, where his wife Rev. Angela Menke Ballou is pastor, and West Falmouth Friends Meeting.

Mr. Folino, who was Head Athletic Trainer at MMA for 32 years, serves as our athletic trainer at JPII.  He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tampa, and a Master's in Education from Cambridge College, and is a certified and licensed athletic trainer in Massachusetts.  He is the proud father of four grown children and is a parishioner at St. John the Evangelist in Pocasset.  Mr. Folino is also an elected official with the town of Bourne and is a founding father of the Bourne Braves, Cape Cod Baseball League.

Ms. Foran returns to the Cape from Florida, where she served as Principal of Academie da Vinci Charter School (Dunedin, FL). Previously, she held the positions of Program Director and Director of Education at Latham Centers (Brewster, MA). She is a graduate of Bridgewater State University (M.A., Clinical Psychology), Lesley University (M.Ed), and Stonehill College (B.A., Psychology), and has completed advanced coursework in Special Education Administration at American International College. Mrs. Godfrey holds an M.Ed. In-School Leadership from Boston College, and has completed extensive post-graduate credits at SUNY, Boston University, Endicott College, and Salem State. Her graduate coursework has been in Adolescent Health, Counseling, and Leadership. She also has completed numerous certifications in Adolescent Health Issues, Violence Prevention, Substance Abuse, and Gender/Sexuality Issues, and has been the Title IX Coordinator for her building.  After beginning her teaching career in a catholic school for the Diocese of Albany. She and her husband moved to Boston to continue their graduate work. After teaching and holding many leadership positions on the North Shore (Hamilton-Wenham School District, for 23 years), she relocated to the Cape seven years ago.  This is Karen Godfrey’s sixth year at St. John Paul II School, where she is the Director of Leadership Studies and the Coordinator for the Health Science Program. She is also the Freshmen Class Advisor and runs girls’ groups for freshmen through senior girls.  She has two children and five beautiful grandchildren and is a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish.

A native from Brazil, Mrs. Kennedy is very proud to teach languages such as English, Portuguese and Spanish. She has been working in education for over thirty years. Mrs. Kennedy has a Masters in Children's Literature and B.A. in Concentration Education from UNI-BH (in Brazil).  Living in different countries and learning their languages has given her a better understanding of the process of teaching a foreign language. As an extension of Mrs. Kennedy's language skills, she is able to apply interpreter and translator functions.

Deacon Schutzler served in the United States Coast Guard. He has a BS in Secondary Education/Social Studies from Penn State University, a MS in Counseling Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy from Chestnut Hill College and earned his School Administrative Licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through Penn State University. He has served in public and Catholic schools for 30 years as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. He was ordained a deacon in 2015. Deacon is married and has two adult daughters, one of whom resides in Hyannis. Deacon is assigned to Christ the King Parish and resides with his wife Kate in Mashpee.

Ms. Voci holds a Bachelor's in Secondary Education & American History from Salve Regina University and a Master's in Modern European History from Providence College.  Outside the classroom, Ms. Voci runs co-moderates our Campus Ministry and she attends St. Anthony's Parish in Falmouth.  Ms. Voci has a Certificate from AP Summer Institute at St. Johnsbury Academy (2017).

Mr. Wahle teaches religion for the seventh and eighth grades.  He received his B.A. from Assumption College and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Catechetics and Evangelization from Franciscan University of Steubenville.  Mr. Wahle is a parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish in East Sandwich where he serves as a faith formation teacher and lector.

Mrs. Warms holds a B.S. in Mathematics and an M. Ed. degree from Worcester State College and has completed extensive post- graduate coursework at Cambridge College, Fitchburg State, and Framingham State College. Mrs. Warms served as a mathematics teacher at Charlton Middle School for sixteen years before relocating to Cape Cod. Mrs. Warms is a member of Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Osterville.

Mrs. Wile graduated with a BS from Stonehill College and received her MEd through the PACT Program at Providence College.  She has taught middle school & high school science courses for 14 years.  She also serves as the moderator for the Science Club & Garden Club.

Mr. Young is in his first year teaching mathematics. He earned his BA from Stonehill College in 2019, and is an alum of JPII, graduating in 2014. Young serves as the head baseball coach and the senior class moderator.  He belongs to St. Mary’s Parish in Mansfield, MA.
