New Ice Hockey Coach Named

St. John Paul II High School has hired Christopher Kent as the Lions’ Head Hockey Coach, effective immediately. Kent served as Assistant Coach to Charles “Chuck” Jancaterino, who coached the Lions from 2015-2018.

“Coach Kent has been a key member of the JPII hockey coaching staff since the 2015-16 season. He brings tremendous commitment, knowledge, and energy to Lions hockey as well as established relationships with the team. We are thrilled to have Coach Kent assume the reigns of JPII hockey. We are looking forward to the continued growth and success of the program, and I know Coach Kent is eager to get started,” said Athletics Director Mark Santos.
