Parent Volunteer Opportunity

Transportation Information:
Please be advised that on Wednesday, October 8, there will be NO Barnstable afternoon buses.

Thursday, October 16 is a half day for JPII students. There will be no Barnstable or RTA buses.  The Over the Bridge Bus schedule for all early dismissal days is as follows: 

Pick up at 11:40.

Approximate drop-off times are:
Market Basket: 12:10
St. Margaret’s: 12:25
Panera Plymouth: 12:50

Parent Teacher Conferences are October 16
Conferences will be held at both the Preparatory and High School Divisions between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Please arrive no earlier than 2:00 PM and no later than 5:45 PM. There are no appointments necessary; simply stop by and speak with your child’s teachers. To ensure that all families can visit with teachers, we will strive to keep conferences to five minutes. 

Homecoming is Saturday, October 25
Please plan on attending the first homecoming JPII Men’s and Women’s soccer match-up at JPII! The two teams will mix it up for a match full of JPII spirit. Kick off is at 11:00 AM with the homecoming court presented at half-time.  We will have Sweetish Fish; Glo BBQ; Press Ahead Coffee; Aundria’s Kitchen; and Cape Cod Concessions all on-site selling snacks, coffee, food, and candy!  Come watch the game and grab some lunch (or breakfast) while you are at it! All are welcome to come share their Lion Pride!

Open House is October 29, 2025
Admissions season is upon us and our families are the best advertisement for the school! Game of the Week is Women’s Volleyball on Oct. 9
If you can only make it to one event for the week, make it the women’s volleyball game on Thursday, October 9, against Bishop Stang. Varsity plays at 6:30; JV at 5:00 and Freshman at 3:45.  Come support the team on Senior Night!

New hours at The Roar Store! The store will be open every day during XBlocks and Monday through Thursday from 2:45-3:30. Stop by the High School building and check it out!

GR 9 – 12 INFORMATION   

Please Return Media Waiver
There has been significant change to JPII’s Parent Contact and Photo Release policy. All families must print, sign, and return the 2025-2026 Contact and Photo Release Waiver, indicating their decision as to permission for the use of parent contact information or the use of student work, photographs, video, or name. 

SAT/PSAT Day will be on Thursday, October 16
ALL students in grades 9-12 will take either the PSAT or the SAT on Thursday, October 16 as part of their school day. Students will be dismissed at 11:24 AM.

12th Grade: SAT

10th and 11th Grade: PSAT/NMSQT

9th Grade: PSAT 8/9

1. All students must arrive at school on time. Students who arrive late to school on the morning of testing risk not being allowed to test.
2. Before test day, students must have installed Bluebook on their devices. They can log into their College Board accounts and download the app. Be advised that the College Board often runs software updates to Bluebook. Before test day, students are advised to run Bluebook to allow an auto-update, if there is one, to proceed. 
3. It is critical that students bring their devices to school on test day fully charged—capable of running on battery power for up to 4 hours. Access to a power outlet during testing cannot be guaranteed. 
4. Students who use personal Chromebooks will not be able to use them on test day. Instead, they will test on one of the school’s managed devices. Students will need to know their College Board sign-in credentials (username and password).
