For the first time in school history, JPII is competing in winter track. The team travels to Wheaton College every Tuesday during the season for Cape & Islands League meets against Nauset, Martha’s Vineyard, Sandwich, Barnstable, Falmouth, and D-Y. With a roster of 23 ranging from Grade 8-12, the team is not large, but over the first half of the season, athletes have claimed top-10 spots in events ranging from the 55M dash to Shot Put. On February 5th, the team will head to the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston for the League Meet.
